My CrossFit Journey started in 2011 with my first class. I was immediately drawn to the sport and how it was able to create a positive and healthy fitness community. I had always been into sports growing up (baseball, wrestling, and just being active), but I had never been “fit” until Crossfit brought me an awareness of being healthy even when you aren’t playing the sport. Since then I have always pushed myself to be the best at what I do and try to share that drive with others.
A major turning point in my life was being sick and tired of being self-conscious about my physical self as well as wanting a more holistic way of treating my Crohn’s disease. I was constantly on medications and struggling with weight consistency and it was really affecting my mental health. Since starting CrossFit I continue to try and improve my life through to this day because it has helped me become who I am today.
As a coach, my purpose is to create a fitness atmosphere that is safe, motivating, and fun for everyone. For myself, I hope to see every member I train to become their best self. There is no better reward than helping others achieve their goals.
